Apple Cake

2 eggs (4 Tbsp Whole Egg Powder + 6 Tbsp water)

2 cups sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 teaspoons salt

1 ½ Tablespoons baking soda

½ cup shortening (½ cup shortening powder + abt ½ cup water—add to desired texture)

2 cups flour

1 Tablespoon cinnamon

4 cups diced apples (4 c. freeze-dried apple dices + 8 cups water)

½ cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350F.  Let apple dices rehydrate 5 minutes, then drain off excess water.  Cream together eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt, baking soda and shortening.  Add flour and cinnamon.  Mix well.  Stir in apples and nuts.  Pour into a greased, floured 9”x13” pan.  Bake for 50-60 minutes.
